Christina Ricci was on one of the late night talk shows last night and she said that he's actually 'caring' for her in the movie.

I have no idea what that means since I haven't seen the movie but I have seen the trailer.

It's very possible that it has a double meaning (as in more than the sexual innuendo).

Ricci's character in the movie is basically a nympho and SLJ plays a more religious character that is trying to free her from her addiction from what I can gather.

yeah i feel stupid now i watched another trailer and now get it. the chain is so that she will stay off the drugs and stop allowing herself to be victimized by men. guess i over-reacted
