black screen pause after windows 7 welcome screen

hello guys, when i boot up my computer i get up to the windows 7 welcome screen then it turns black and my keyboard and everything seems to turn off for about 5 seconds and it will just jump right to my login screen after that. also i get a message every boot that says cdrom and something else is incompatible then starts loading drives I am not sure about the exact drives its loading im at work sorry. (i never seen this before, only until setting it to AHCI so i dont know if this is normal.) ,

This problem occurred after i installed my SSD and everything but soon after I got everything ready to go i forgot to change my IDE to AHCI, noticed this because it was not reading any sata cables or speeds for the SSD in the samsung magician software, I did the regedit thing restarted changed it to ahci and everything read as it should and had a huge increase in speed.

I was wondering if this problem could of been from changing the regedit instead of formatting or if i should reinstall my drivers that were installed before i changed it to AHCI (graphics, audio ect), I know i read some other people having the same problem but never found a solution yet.

I was going to try and format the drive and correctly install the OS with ahci enabled when i got home but if their was anything that could possibly fix it so i didnt have to, would be awesome, because at the moment it seems to be working just when i was installing updates for windows last night and it had to restart to apply updates. seemed to want to restart alot more then it should have, and i beleive the black screen was causing it
