Black Screen, Orange light on Monitor

I'm gonna try to be as detailed as possible.

So I turned off my pc and went to sleep. The next morning I woke up turned it on, and somehow all my bookmarks from chrome was gone. So I opened Firefox, and my pc crashed. I restarted it. My monitor would show the asus logo and then go black. I restarted it again, it did the same thing but this time it showed a "Preparing automatic repair" message, before becoming black again.

I looked some stuff up and came to the conclusion that my OS is corrupt. This is when I went into my BIOS and checked some stuff. I noticed in the SSD Secure Erase tab that my SSD status was "frozen". Not being sure as to what that meant, I tried to do a clean windows install from a bootable usb drive. But it would just take me to a purple screen with a movable cursor on it.

I restarted my pc again, and now my monitor (Asus VC239H) had an orange light (it should be a white light). I looked up what the orange light meant and it said that my monitor isn't getting any signal from the CPU. I tried restarting a few more times but it did the same thing, it turns on, shows the asus logo, then says "No Signal/HDMI" and then shows an orange light when I press the power button on my CPU. I tested all my cables. Cleaned and reseated the GPU (Asus-GeForce GTX-1050ti) and RAMs (G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 2x8gb DDR4 2400). I removed my GPU and tried to turn the pc on using the built-in GPU. All the lights and fans seems to be working fine. But nothing worked.

Please help!!

After you removed your GPU to try using the IGP, did you clear your CMOS (with the power off and unplugged from the wall)? From the looks of your board, it appears you will have to place a jumper on the pins.

Outside of that, your issue really could be with the PSU, motherboard, RAM, or CPU. You'll have to further troubleshooting to determine which one(s) might be the issue. However, this is usually tough because people usually don't have a way to swap parts with known good ones. However, you can test the RAM by removing one module and seeing if your issues are fixed. If not, try the other stick in a different RAM slot.

How do I clear the CMOS ? Also I might get my hands on an old spare pc later today, I will test my monitor on it to see if there's something wrong with it.

Each motherboard is different, so just look in your motherboard manual (also available on Asus' site in case you don't have it), and just follow the directions in there. It's generally just placing a jumper on two pins for a few seconds while your PC is unplugged, and if for some reason the jumper is missing from your board, you can use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch both the pins at the same time.

Alright, thanks man. I'll try that out when I get home.

How can clear my cmos in my sony vios laptop(SVE15136CNB)?
Removed and left cmos battery for whole night but still bios asking for the password.

We do not help with work-arounds
of bypassing passwords at this site.

You will need to contact the support
department of the manufacturer of your
laptop.
