Everything was working fine all weekend. When I came home today, it was black as I leave my PC on even when I'm not at home. I tried to reset my PC to see what would happen. The bios loads but at an incorrect resolution and then the windows 8.1 symbol pops up with a loading circle and then everything goes black.

I tried installing my ATI 7870 and bios doesn't even load with that video card. I think it might be a problem with windows? My current video card is a GTX 770.

Over the weekend I did download dogecoin wallet and mine bitcoins with my ATi 7870. I was mining so slow so i decided to stop and plug my GTX 770 back in. The only uninstall i did was through control panel. You guys think this might be the problem? However, my computer was working all day sunday after i did this so maybe not.

I take it you un-intalled and installed the correct drivers every time you switch video cards?

I would try un-installing the driver again, and running DDU (guru3d has it) and try installing the drivers again. Also once you un-install the drivers and shut down pull the video card and reseat it again.

Get in safe mode to run DDU.

If that does not fix anything, maybe you downloaded some malware with the bitcoin stuff.

Thanks! I'm on it.

Edit
Okay, I think i know what the problem is. I had it earlier last year. My monitor is broken and shuts off after a few seconds. After i uninstalled all the drivers, i was able to load into windows faster but the monitor still went black so that's why I believe it's the problem. I'm going to find another monitor to see if it fixes the issue.

Edit 2:
Nevermind what i said in edit 1 since i can run for a long time in safe mode.

Edit 3:
I get a black screen right after installing drivers to GTX 770

Edit 4:
Screen crashes every time i install GTX 770 drivers. Any ideas?

Edit 5:
Tried using the DDU said a few time and it lets me load into windows after I uninstall all drivers but when i reinstall GTX 770 drivers, the screen goes black. I tried installing ATI 7870 after using DDU again but bios doesn't even load with the ATI 7870. Any other suggestions?

Another thing I find strange is that bios doesn't even load the correct resolution and it normally does.

FIXED
Turns out it was just the DVI cable behind my monitor. It was loose.
