Unless I got a bad PSU, but its a 600W Corsair and its... brand new! So I hope that is not the case.

I think the best way to test this would be a good benchmarking program, like 3DMark 11. It will give your cpu, gpu, and memory a really good workout. If you can run that back to back several times, I don't think you have a hardware problem.
