Needs to have atleast 4 knobs, and support 15+watt per channel. Im hearing the SVC Sunbeam isn't a good rheo, so im looking elsewhere. Anyone got any ideas?

Where are you hearing the sunbeam isn't good?

I am using one now and it's by far the best I've had. Even using one channel for my cpu fan. So far so good. And I believe it's the only one that can actually turn a fan off. That makes it great for a cathode too, which I am also using on it.

If there was anything bad so far, it's the leds. those things are very bright. You can't look directly at them. Makes a good nightlight though. :D

Ahh, I had been hearing that the faceplate has some ghetto decals, and the 3pin headers were pretty bad. I guess i'll buy one then. Do you have any pics of yours in your setup?

I have a Sunbeam rheo, and I love it. The LED's are superbright! (Yeah, they make a great nightlite!) Mine doen't have 3-pin, it's set up for bare wire connection. Apparently, there is a newer model which everybody's selling, which must be the one you're referring to....

Here's some pics

The one I have has 3 pin connectors only and no wire adapters. It can be a hassle to connect a 4 pin to it unless you have many assorted cables as I do.

They do have decals on the front and the black one didn't look as good because of the white decals, so I chose the silver one. Pics of that are on svc. But since it's black, paint... :D

Wise guy eh. :p

It was very difficult to get the pics to come out decent. Those leds are just like what's in a led flashlight, and you know how bright those puppies are. :D

It's almost like looking at the sun.

Trust me, those LED's shine all the way across the room!

The "room" is the only thing stopping them. :D

Excellent. I might have to purchase one of these.

Does anyone know if the silver version matches lian-li cases?

The only negatives of the SVC version and the standard ver. 2.0 with the tailed springloaded version is the ugly decals and the inability to attach more than 1 fan per channel w/out splicing to a 3 pin connector.

Also, I'm not sure if the SVC version allows you to totally turn the fan off, as the standard ver. 2.0 one allows (with a click). I'm not sure if the silver one matches identically, but the black one isn't the same brushed aluminum finish, its more a glossy alumuninum finish. Still looks great though, and yes, the LEDs are VERY bright :)

I got mine at Xoxide, just make sure you specificy color, as I wanted a silver one (as pictured) but got a black one. Turned out alright though, as I dyed my drives black to match. Looks quite good and adds some character to the front of my case.
