Black or White iPhone

Anyone use both black and white iPhones? (any version)

I have had the 3G Black for 3 years and the back is pretty scratched up, but you can't really tell because it is black.
Do the white ones show more wear? D:

I have a White 4 and I will probably be getting a White 4S because whatever... I want it. Giving my old one to my GF who wants it. Mine doesn't show much wear, but it isn't that old.

I'm more than likely getting the white 4S. I am fond of the color compared to the standard black phones I've been dealing with day in and out.

White is awesome.

My wife has had the white iPhone 4 for months of heavy use -no case- and there's not a hint of wear showing. If you're not an exceptionally filthy person, the finish is such that it doesn't collect grime. You can also put a transparent guard over it if you're really worried about that.

I find the white to be exactly the opposite- black finishes tend to show every minute scratch and flaw (far more likely than common grime, unless like I said, you're a particularly filthy person) whereas scratches and tiny flaws in the white are practically invisible.

I'm going with white. I've had black phones for years and am just ready for a change. My wife got a white 4 when they first became available and didn't think I would like it but it has really grown on me. I am just ready for something different, heck that's the whole reason I want an iphone to start with, just want something different from the droids Ive been using the last couple of years.

The white iPhone 3G/3Gs looked awesome, IMO. I also had one of each. The white iPhone4 does indeed look like an experiment gone wrong.

I always have mine in a case (butterfingers). Plus I started using battery cases lately, which double the life of the iPhone during the day, so the color doesn't really matter for me since it's covered up.

pretty much this. used to have a black 3GS and 4, sold both of them and now im using a temporary white iphone 4. every time i use it, i just wish it was black instead.

I agree with the iPhone 3G/3GS, those white versions looked decent. Maybe that's because the face was black. The white iPhone 4's are awful

I have a black 3GS in a white Speck case with black trim. It looks great. I'll probably get a Black 4S and a white case again.
