A Texas man was sentenced to over nine year in prison on Monday for fraudulently obtaining COVID-19 relief funds that he used for the purchase of a Lamborghini and other expenses.

So in fairness, I need to point out that the individual in that article did more just take PPP funds and fire his employees to buy a Lambo. He falsified loan documents in order to receive a much larger PPP loan than his business qualified for. And then bought a Lambo. But the forged docs are why he got 9 years.

That's the mistake. Should have just taken his regular PPP cash, fired his employees, and settled for a Tesla or something.
