Think about it for a moment. Even if the underlying allegations were true (they're not), the subtext is effectively "stop supporting Black Lives Matter," which... no thanks. I don't have to like that some leading figures may be living a life of luxury from contributions, but I'm not going to stop demanding police reforms and accountability because of flawed behavior by some leaders.

Don't play into the hands of the anti-BLM camp. You can support the core cause without endorsing the activities of everyone attached to the movement.

This is what she does with her personal money, not from donations, and not on behalf of BLM. And not a salary from BLM. So your comment "A fool and their money are soon parted though" is yet another crock of shit from you. It's OK, we've come to expect it.

Yeah, I read your article, and it says they don't know. And, according to her, she is paid no salary whatsoever from BLM. And since your article provides no evidence of any such salary, what we are discussing is a non-issue. So, to be clear. She is on record since this article stating she has never drawn a salary from BLM. There is no evidence before us which contradicts that. So unless or until you have some evidence to the contrary, that is where it stands.

Yes, in this case, they use a certain kind of propaganda, which is not to technically lie but to imply things without ever stating them outright or providing any evidence. So we have this lengthy "investigative" piece which is nothing more than an exhaustive review of how much property she bought and what she paid for it, with repeated references to her self-identification as "Marxist" or "socialist." But when it comes to showing corruption, all they can say is, we don't know where she gets this money. If she gets if from BLM, we can't tell because of the complexity of BLM finances.

The target for this kind of propaganda is the buffoon who started this thread. He leapt to the exact conclusion they wanted him to leap to, and they did it without technically lying or even saying the thing he now believes. Because they know what their readers want to believe and how to use innuendo to trigger those beliefs.

Isn't receiving an outrageous salary from a nonprofit the entire reason for running one? You can't keep a profit, but you can sure as hell pay yourself a few hundred thousand a year. It's almost as good as being a TV preacher.
