Black people are underrepresented? They make up a fucking mere 12-15% of the population, but disgraceful people such as yourself think that they should have half the government to be black in order to be called "diverse" regardless of talent

There should be an IQ requirement for voting. Hell, even adding a quiz like 2+3 = ? or even a standard Captcha would probably eliminate a good 10% of voters that would be stupid enough to elect someone as dumb fuck as that.

Agreed.

And let me just be clear, by no means am I implying (by linking that video) that I don't believe there are any African Americans suited to positions of political power and responsibility. There absolutely are.

What worries me, is that we have set up a society now that is so intent on treating blacks like children, that there is an entirely different standard in place for the level of competence, intelligence, experience, etc for blacks to scale the heights of power than for whites.

Whites who pride themselves on having become completely non-racist are in fact every bit as racist as people in the 50's or what have you, but now it takes a different form. They are unable to distinguish a black individual from blacks in general, which creates a situation where they feel like, hey if I do something to hide the shortcomings of this single black person, I'm scoring white guilt elimination points and I'm doing something to help the entire African-American community! Go me!

This blinds them from being able to see when someone is toxically corrupt and incompetent. This allows for toxically corrupt and incompetent blacks to make it much deeper into the system than whites of similar character and intelligence could do. Do some white corrupt idiots make it in too? Yes absolutely. But because people aren't hamstrung by their own racism (which they won't acknowledge as such) from diagnosing those attributes in a white candidate, they TEND to get weeded out.

So if you erect a system with a built in, government mandated preferential, racist treatment to help certain groups get in and get further (affirmative action) and then you have cultural trends since the 60's which ensure that almost every white person within the power structure is well trained to look the other way and help cover up black incompetence and corruption, to pick up the slack for them, and we have erected exactly such a system... well, it leads to some very bad outcomes and the outcomes will only get worse.

We've incentivized "diversity" so much that people take massive shortcuts to check off that box, they want their company or their state or whatever to have a sufficient number of black faces on the wall of pictures, to demonstrate that they are good little PC minions, and once you incentivize something like that... people WILL cut corners to get there. Who cares if this black guy we just hired is a complete idiot? Who cares if we'd never hire a white guy who was similarly stupid and underqualified? It doesn't matter, because now we have another black face to slap on all our company stuff, start taking pictures of this guy and getting him in the University welcome packet and on our commercials and etc etc etc!

To be truly non-racist is to judge all people as individuals, and to apply the same standards and expectations to all individuals. To value competence, experience, intelligence when hiring or electing or admitting or promoting. To be unconcerned with whether every group is providing the exact same number or percentage... that is what it means to be truly blind to race.

Here's another very sobering and informative video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmA6Kdy12jU

AGAIN (TO ANYONE CONFUSED): THERE ARE BLACKS WHO ARE QUALIFIED FOR ANY AND ALL POSITIONS IN SOCIETY, BUT WE'VE SET UP A SYSTEM THAT IS DRAWING IN A LOT OF UNQUALIFIED, INCOMPETENT PEOPLE IN ORDER TO SCORE FEEL GOOD POINTS.

Agree. Screw all this nonsense about diversity, affirmative action and all that pc crap. Talent first

Its interesting how no one mentions black people make up 39% of the prison population which is part of a deeper problem
