Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity

I normally don't post video links, but I thought this (Hulu link; sorry non-U.S. people) was an interesting video about the formation and properties of black holes. Nothing groundbreaking here, but good conceptualization. Plus, it's narrated by Liam Neeson


There are other educational videos on science and history on Hulu, as well. I love the Nova series in particular, wish they had more episodes.

The plama jets originate from interactions outside of the event horizon so the energy is not actually escaping the black hole.
