Black Friday: Portable Dishwasher sale?

Im trying to find a portable dishwasher, and the only way Im going out today is if anyone knows of a sale?

You rent an apartment? Otherwise, why not build one in?

What features are you looking for in a dishwasher? (other than portable) The price range is huge, starting at around $200, and going up to about $2000. I just bought one for my wife the other night; a Jenn-air stainless steel (inside and outside),... Now, when it arrives, I've got to do some plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Should take a couple hours.

We have a house, but it is an older house and not designed well as a kitchen... the stove and sink and fridge are a nice triangle, but the dishwasher would have to go to the left of the stove, far from the sink

I could have done that but with the 5 drawers and half of a large cabinet it would have reduced storage space by a lot, plus there is a cold air vent that comes out under the cabinets that would have to be rerouted (and the way it was put in, that would have been a major pita)

the drain in the sink doesnt have a junction built in for a diswasher drain or a air return with the disposal (grr)

also only one hot water shut off so i would have had to install another one of those.


basically, what looked like a short project woulda been a large project, and it would have made the kitchen less attractive to future buyers imo (and annoying for us too) We have a perfect spot for a portable, sooo, why not

but yeah, i looked into this a while and finally said ok, portable,

They have a nice Kenmore one in black for a good price.
