Black friday- 4pm or later

I've never shopped on a black friday (really I never thought it was such a big deal) But I happen to have just started a temp job at circuit city last week and am working tonight.

What should I expect around 4pm and later? The circuit city is next to the mall of georgia. Should I leave an hour early to fight traffic?
