Does it actually sear properly, and how's the smoke levels? I have a tiny, non-ventilated kitchen & my 10x10' concrete pad at my rental is all the way downstairs, which makes cooking outside a hassle. It would be nice to not smoke out the kitchen, haha!

Seared nicely! Smoke wasn’t bad. Cousins place is a condo so we were indoors. Couldn’t tell we had just grilled some steaks and did ribs. Worth while purchase.

Yeah, the "deals" really sucked this year. It seemed that all of the electronics and computers that actually had a decent discount were 2017 leftovers. Everything else was discounted around 15%.

The only site I saw that had a "real" Black Friday discount was the online store for The Oatmeal. Everything there was 75% off.

Finally got a smart lock for the front door.

Auto-lock & unlock via proximity (bluetooth)... best convenience ever. Between that and keyless ignition, no more taking out keys period. I don't carry a wallet anymore either.

Dropped from $79 to $55 today. Since they don't price match, I'll return the other.

got the HF 1.5 ton aluminum jack. weighs half as much as my 3 ton hybrid jack. also got some 3 ton jack stands because they're shorter than the 6 ton stands i've already got.

I need another jack (currently have a couple ton hybrid craftsman) but need high lift for my SUV and I didn't see any screaming deals.

I also just ran into an identical garmin smart watch for me that is like half it's original price on BestBuy and over $100 cheaper than I can find any other website - so I just picked that up.
