At Macy's, Black & Decker waffle makers were among the items to sell out early, said Nicolosi. Shoppers also rushed to buy Keurig coffee makers and travel luggage.

What the hell goes through peoples minds. "Humm I will wait 5 hours in line and fight crowds so I can save 25 cents on a Waffle maker I never planned on buying and will use once before it gets boxed up and rots in the garage full of other shit I never use."

Premarkets are all positive :)

This is why I go to work every Black Friday.

I would rather die in a fire or take a bullet to the brain before suffering this nonsense. Went once 3 years ago after my wife begged and pleaded for me to go. I almost got in a fist fight outside of Target over a shopping cart!!

Never again Kyle... Never again...

I now find it impossible to "get time off" the Friday after Thanksgiving.. Sorry Hun, I asked, they said no... I gotta go to work today.

I live right on the busiest shopping street in a medium sized city. Something like 10k cars/hour on a normal day.

Today its beyond nuts. I can look out my bedroom window and see the parking lot that used to be a street. If I stand up I can see Best Buy and Target, both are still crazy busy. I woke up at 3am last night and laughed at the crazy idiots out shopping.

Then I realized that I'm out of food and HAVE to go grocery shopping. Now I have to deal with these mongrels. FML

You couldn't pay me to go out shopping on Black Friday. I feel sorry for the minimum wage retail jockeys that have to put up with it.

Actually the borders aren't too bad today. I was expecting the Niagara bridges to be slammed all day yesterday and today but it's been quiet. Most Canadians staying home this year. The deals here in Canada aren't too bad. Tiger Direct had an OCZ 256gb SSD going for $100. Might jump in on that because I'd like one for my laptop.

I hate the Internet snipers. Was looking at a video game to buy for my cousin that was on sale this morning from Amazon and literally right when the deal went on, it was 100% sold out. I was on the app on my phone so I had no chance.

Yea, I wanted the $49 128gb SSD at Newegg, gone, remind myself to block all their future emails with "shell shocker" pricing only to find out it's gone..

Don't feel bad. I've been messing around and looking for some Klipsch WF-34 or WF-35 speakers. Newegg had them on sale two weeks ago for $270 and I skipped buying them, knowing they'd go on sale again. They went on sale again yesterday for $299, and I procrastinated and didn't buy them, thinking they'd drop them on Black Friday.

Now they're all out of stock at Newegg. I placed an order with a seller on Amazon who had them for $30 more than Newegg, and then they emailed me and said they're out of stock and aren't sure when they'll get more in (I'd be shocked if they do, since they're discontinued but I don't know who their supplier is). I emailed yet another vendor on Amazon and they replied they had them in stock and then proceeded to jack the price up another $80. I just can't win.

I went to BF sales last night. Macy's and Target. There was a lot of people at the latter in the electronics section. No one was fighting and other than some bumper cart games, everyone was civil and cordial.

Wal-Mart may have been a different story. I don't go to the store on normal days let alone BF.

I had to run to Wal Mart this morning to pick up a few things (more Christmas lights, extension cords, etc) and it looked like a tornado went through. The "highlight" was some trashy lady standing in the aisle on her cell phone saying "I just told the cashier to FUCK OFF!" It didn't seem to matter to her that kids were all around her.

Apparently she was complaining about layaway policies. When I paid for my stuff, the cashier said "I'd hate to be in the layaway department. Some lady was screaming and cursing and thought policies didn't apply to her."

I went last night to get some stuff for cookies (I make toll-house every thanksgiving), they had a huge line for the "32 Emerson LCD for$149, some guy hands me a UPC bar-code card, if I pay for it tonight Wal-mart guaranteed delivery by X-mas, good deal but I'm not too fond of Emerson anything. The best deal on a TV was the Toshiba "40 at BB for $179 I bought my wife one last February for $379, it's a decent quality set vs Specter or some other no-name brand, prolly had like 15-20 per store LOL..

You guys paint Black Friday like it's some mad house all day long. The only time it's crazy is during the first 30 minutes of opening at one of the big box stores. At first I hated all the stores opening on Thanksgiving night, but it actually makes the actual Black Friday shopping a breeze. Just got back from 6 hours of running around town and crowds/traffic were very much below what they normally are if most stores were to open at 5am like they used to.

It's "crazy" on boxing day here during the first hour or so... Then it becomes a huge freaking mess with long line ups because staff have no time to clean up. Also, non-regular customers go into the fancy stores the one time for the year, and disrespect the shit out of it.

Just went grocery shopping and it was a breeze. The store I go to is kind of like a local Wal Mart, so I thought it would be crazy.

Maybe opening up the night before is a good thing!

Watched all the vids.

Just realized I should have gone out with my camera and had some lulz.
Oh well. Next year.
