I got a black fongkai fk320 case. I have 1 pioneer 106s dvd rom, 1 plextor 12x burner, and a floppy, all beige. I tried to use ultra flat spray paint to color the face plates. Since this is my first try at this I pretty much screwed up the bezels.
Question:
where can I find black bezel for the pioneer 106s and the plextor 12x burner for a decent price?
I seen a place that sells the black plextor bezel for $35 and $7 shipping, but yet to find one for the pioneer.
If not black, I will pretty much settle with any color at this point.

Thanks

what do you mean by screwed it up? are you positive that they are unsalvageable?

if the paint is just messed up you can always wait for the paint to dry and then sand it all off...

is the slot painted shut or something? you can always use some paint thineer on a q-tip to take the excess off the slot...

to answer your question directly, i haven't seen any faceplates for sale, but i really think that you can fix what you've done.

The bezel was screwed up in that the little plastic tab that is used to eject the CD was broken off when I try to separate the paint that glued it together.

i suppose you could always make your own button/tab thingy, but that would kind of kill the look of the thing wouldn't it?

anyway, bump for the thread in hopes that someone knows where you can buy a new faceplate.

maybe try the fs/ft forum...?
