I just got an LCD monitor and it has a black dot on it. At first I thought it was a dead pixel, but when I look closely I can see that the black dot is a couple of millimeters behind the other pixels. In other words, if I put my mouse pointer next to it and move my head, I can see that the mouse pointer is in front of that dot, not at the same level.
The dot is in front of the white light being generated
Here is a picture of it: pic
Again, that dot isn't the same depth as the mouse pointer, it's behind it a bit.
Anyone have any ideas?
