I saw a copper plated case once. It was so beautiful! I wish I could get one but the maintenance must be horrendous! Always have to polish as copper gets oxide, if I got a scratch on it I would probably freak out. Anyway, I am happy with my Lian-Li alluminum case.

I prefer black. Looks much cooler to me than beige. The plastic faceplate of some beige casings "decolour" after some time and looks ugly to me IMO.

I'm boring - I'd rather use the old standard beige.

The case right now is an Antec 3700AMB, I'm using my two beige cdroms and floppy, not exactly the best combination with Antecs "metallic bronze" color case, beige is too white, and black is too dark for it. But at least the case has a door to hide it until you need to access the drives. :)

Black with beige drives is teh worst evar though :p
I am tired of spending more for damn black drives, so my next case is going to have a door, so what's behind won't matter :)

I currently have a very ugly beige CD burner in my all black setup. I even have a set of black drive covers that came with my case. Unfortunately the burner isn't standard so the covers won't fit. To make matters worse I ended up breaking the front off of the burner when trying to change it, so now it's a broken biege drive with a black case/keyboard/monitor/router/desk/cd-holder and it looks like crap. Just another project, sigh...

My vote goes with black also. Part of it is because it is my favorite color, but it also matches well with most furniture and is hardly ever an eye-sore. The blue LED lights inside look hella cool coming through the side window. I used black before it was so popular with my Toshiba pentium 166 with black everything. At the time it looked sweet compared to the sea of beige.

Black is faster, don't you know?

Add a racing stripe for an extra 10% performance increase!
Decals help too....

"bologna inside!" :p

Get a silver Coolermaster case. They also sell driver covers so you can stealth :)

I do too...but finding silver driver isn't easy.

So that's a no-go for me, unless the case has a door :)
