Black and Decker heat gun, any good?

thats kind of over my budget, i won't be using it often and most of the time will be heating heat shrink tubes. but i do need to heat up my headlight lights in my upcoming project.

I'd go with generic/no name for a heat gun, personally.

Depends on what you need though. If it's just for heatshrink tubing, yeah.

I don't have a heatgun so I use our hair dryer. Works, but I'm sure even a cheapo heatgun would work better.

After looking, the black and decker one looks more nifty. You can control the temperature better.

I always weigh price/features more than price alone.

Variable temperature control from 100 to 1000ºF rules.
