I think we all know there are a number of people on both sides of this debate (of all races). Not to imply it's a black and white debate regarding the troubling issues and possible solutions, the debate to it's credit runs along the full spectrum.

Where a large road block, IMO, lays towards improving the situation is in how each side of the debate is treated and/or censored on news outlets.

It appears to me you're saying that if a person uses facts and statistics to treat races differently there is something inherently wrong with it; facts and statistics should take a back seat to ideology. Let's not forget that term facts and statistics--not, say, personal anecdotes and ignorant fantasies.
