BJ-200 not printing in Win98 SE

I gave my old BJ-200 to someone, but we can't get it to print under Win98 SE. I prints in DOS, and AFAIK it did print for me with Win95. The driver I tried is the one built into Windows.

Windows thinks that it's printing - the document appears in the print queue, and then disappears, but nothing gets printed. If the printer is off, Windows detects that, and, as I mentioned, it prints in DOS. So the printer and communication seem to be fine.

Anyone has an idea what's going on?

Is the BJ 200 an Ink Jet B/W ? If its the one I am thinking of its the same as my old Lexmark 1070. If so I am useing it with WIN 98se at work with no problems. But I also loaded the drivers fron a disk. What ink cartridge does it use? if it turns out to be the same I could send you the drivers.

Yes, the BJ-200 is a B/W bubble-jet printer (from Canon). I did find drivers on the web. I guess I'll tell him to try them.
