Bizzare graphical glitches in Explorer

This happens when double clicking on a folder in Explorer. Sometimes also when opening a new explorer window (ie: double click on some folder from desktop). Hitting F5 to refresh fixes it, but then it just comes back again. 🙁

I've tried fiddling with removing the Catalyst drivers (and just using the default "non driver" or VESA), even tried System Restore. No dice.

Any ideas? Reinstall XP?
