This happens when double clicking on a folder in Explorer. Sometimes also when opening a new explorer window (ie: double click on some folder from desktop). Hitting F5 to refresh fixes it, but then it just comes back again.
I've tried fiddling with removing the Catalyst drivers (and just using the default "non driver" or VESA), even tried System Restore. No dice.
Any ideas? Reinstall XP?
