Windows XP People Calling For Your Help. Strange Problem....
OK I have a very strange problem. First off I replaced my MSI K7T Turbo Board with an Epox 8KHA+. Turned on my comp to see if i didn't need to format and reinstall the OS (Windows XP).
Of Course, XP hates the damn thing so I put in the XP cd boot to recovery and format D: (XP Partition). So, I go in and I reinstall windows formating again with the windows install.
Installs complete now, reset comp gets to dual boot screen I click XP, I get the loading sign then BSOD. Something about the Registry file not being writable or readable.
boot in command prompt only mode. Format D: again. install XP again. Another error saying "If this is the first time you get this restart...bla bla...Disable Caching and Shadowing in BIOS.
So I do it restart. Another BSOD.
Format Again, Try NT format instead of FAT and still a BSOD and nothing .
Anyone have any ideas what is causing this? I'm not overclocked but the bridges on my Athlon are unlocked. Cooling is more then adequate (High Speed Delta on Thermoengine). Could it be that it just hates my new mobo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated been working on the damn thing for 2 days now .
Specs if needed to help ya'll:
