BitTorrent is good.

Downloading anime at 300K/s. 🙂

BitTorrent is sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. This protocol is totally awesome and that's a fact. BitTorrent is fast, smooth, cool, strong, powerful, and sweet. I can't wait to start programming next year. I love BT with all of my body (including my pee pee).

bittorrent sucks in that there's no real search mech like other p2p.

Tracker sites normally have search engines available.

Bit Torrent > everything before it. Why? Because it can't be stopped... it doesn't have a main server.

really, i usually get 20k and upload at 90k... WTH!!!

i use BURST! and was downloading some ISOs the other day (for slackware)
initially had ~10k/s
upped my upload bandwidth to full, the number of connections to 5 or 6 and bam, 350k/s

mmmm

BT's awesome, if you are getting bad speeds you either got the link off a crappy site or you just need to wait a little bit...the d/l will go up

I have yet to experiment with bitTorrent. Is the RIAA all over it like Kazaa?

Like stink on a monkey.

Yep, it's easy to figure out who is grabbing stuff, but since it's lousy for MP3s anyhow(too small; BT works better for big things and things that are very popular at that instant), it's not a particularly high target. A Napter/Kazaa like system is still better for MP3s.
