Bitlocker encryption in Windows 10

I have the basic edition of Windows 8 and because of it, I don't have a Bitlocker encryption option built in by default. Will it be the same with Windows 10, or will all editions of the operating system have an encryption option?
 
Yes, I suppose you are right.

Does the preview edition have encryption options?
