still too strange for me to associate "phenom" with anything particularly good in the world of computing (but your build looks good)

Yeah, may want to consider updating the title to include "Bitfenix".

Looks like a clean build. Do you have any pics with the side cover off? I'm curious as to whether the video card and PSU interfered with each other.

Nice case I just purchased the same one for $85 on Superbiiz.com. How did you make the window? I heard the setup is burdened by hot air being blown out from the bottom instead of the top.... Have you had any overheating problems? Nice Nocturnas as well :)

Hi guys,

I am still trying to come up with the ideal airflow setup. I have all fans on intake except for the cpu cooler. After sustained load, the bottom intake fans start to pull in hot air from the PSU so i will either switch them or put some kind of heat deflector on the bottom. CPU gets to 70c max, GPU gets to 75/80c max (with the fan profile set to ALWAYS be on lowest speed (20%))

Here is a video i made of the build. maybe this will help you to visualise just how small it is inside this case:

I am impressed with the cooling in this case - for GPS cooling it is excellent.

I will need to make 2 mods to improve the airflow however:

1. Create a heat shield on the bottom of the case between the PSU exhaust and the 2 intake fans. When the PSU heats up the intake fans draw in a lot of hot air. Perhaps a better PSU than mine would also help (my PSU is terrible)
2. I will need to open up those side ventilation areas on the side of the case - there is actually solid plastic under that mesh, except for a few sporadic holes which is crazy from a design point of view.

Just to make it clear... It seems to me that you cut the side pannel and glued the acrylic to it... is that correct?

I want to make aside window in my Bitfenix Phenom, but I`m studying how to do it so I don`t screw it up...
