I am so mad!!!! I just bought a 3 year license a few days ago... for more than double the amount they are now offering a lifetime license!

I feel cheated!! I sent them an email hope they give me a positive reply..

But anyway, just wanted to give you guys a heads up.... now you can get a lifetime license for only $69.95 USD

http://www.bitdefender.com/

I've already got a free lifetime licence for Microsoft Security Essentials. I haven't checked to see whether it includes "social networking protection", I have to get me some of that!!!11

I'm located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and am seeing a lifetime license as per the screen shot above!!

It spoiled my day when I saw it as it's an awesome offer!!

Imagine buying a decent Antivirus/Firewall and never having to worry about renewing ever again!!!!!!!!! crap!!

I just paid like $140 USD for a 3 year license 3 weeks ago

guys it is just a marketing trick, pay attention to the little note at the end of the page:

*Lifetime protection key is valid for the computer you first install it on,
for the lifetime of the machine, not exceeding 5 years
**Save up to 70% per year. Calculation for 5 years of PC lifetime.
***Average market value

so much for lifetime

lol. This company does not deserve my business...As users rightfully pointed out, Microsoft does! Not only is it free, its light on resources and I suppose will integrate better with the OS than its competition...

Dont get me wrong, I am a Bitdefender Internet Security user, it is the best AV out there and you can verify this at various virus testing labs..

just dont like this marketing BS

i keep trying av softwares and i keep going back to nothing but the firewall. if i get a virus i usually just do a format/reinstall.

what scares me is some stealth virus that doesnt effect my system other then logging all my keystrokes and sending it off to some sweaty palmed kid in his basement where he turns around and sells my login info to a crime organization.

And MSE coming out as the WORST! LOL

I wonder how people even use it! Seriously! one of the most insecure antivirus programs even AVG is better

Interestingly the version they’re testing is 2.1. Which is odd, as the version installed on a work computer is version 4.0. I wonder why they’re using a version that two revs behind…
