bitcoin mining while gaming

i dont own a 7950 yet but if it works with my 5770 ill definetly be getting 1 or 2 7950s if i can game and mine at the same time

Yes you can. Bitcoin mining application only starts when you select a GPU and start mining with it. You can specify whichever GPUs you want to mine say using GUIMiner from its drop-down menu.

You need AMD SDK Stream 2.7 too. What you don't want to do is mine + game at the same time on the same GPU. That would be problematic to say the least 🙂

okay so i can practically put in 2 7950s and mine on those while i game on a 670? so basically i just output video on my 670 right? is there gonna be any driver conflicts? wont i need CCC and the nvidia drivers to get the cards running properly? or can i just mine without the drivers?
