All I want to do is troubleshoot my goddamn FTP problems. I would use IE 6 if it didn't stop working..

Anyway, I download WS_FTP LE, only to be prompted w/ a form to fill out with various BS before being able to actually download the damn install file. Apparently they want a valid email in order to send me a direct link to the setup file. Anyway, I refuse to give them any of my emails for such a crock. And their Pro version didn't work either. Those cafasdklfjas;lkbjdgjldskfjdk fsad;lkfja;lsfjlajas

I can't really express how angry and frustrated I am right now with a simple keyboard. I hope they go bankrupt and everyone associated with the company lives a pathetic existence before dying a excruciatingly long death.

Edit: that frustration even affected my spelling...
 
why are you b1tching so much about free sofware?

fill out the form, put a junk email add, and download the file...

close to the same problem, i needed to download a patch for World Book 2003/2004 becuase we are using Panther at work.
well, i had to fill out a form to get the patch but once i filled out the form "error saving blah blah. try again. if problem persists email us"
so i did it in netscape, firefox, IE and safari. same problem.
switched to three other systems in the office to try it.
nothing.
emailed the guys saying requesting help or at the very least the file sent to me directly through email.
still no response.
but yes forms are a pain in the ass, especially for programs i have already paid for.
 
smartftp? filezilla? methinks something is wrong w/ your system if this is the 9th one you're on... or do you mean the 9th one you've tried out and still don't like?
 
They all connect randomly. I'm about to post in one of the forums about it. Basically the server is behind a firewall of sorts, and I'm behind my router; but even removing my router doesn't give me a connection for some reason. Either way this is really annoying.
