<< The Pyramid 3D was the BitBoys? first project. Although it never went into full production, one of the cards survived. Featured here is the developer card for the Pyramid 3D. This WORKING card features 8MB SDRAM and drivers for Win9x and NT4.0. >>

Jpprod mentioned in a long forgotten post that the Pyramid3d included these features:

1. Programmable hardware transformation and lighting unit with upgradeable microcode
2. Stencil buffer
3. Radiosity lighting support on hardware
4. Hardware support for volumetric fog and lightning
5. Programmable pixel pipeline
6. Environmental bump mapping (EMBM) support

Hey, the Voodoo didn't have specs like these 😛   Although it'll probably end up costing more than a Voodoo did four years ago..

Assuming if it were real, it wouldn't be very high performing nowadays, especially not against boards with far more video/texture memory. Except for a part of history, I wouldn't part with $205. I'd get a GF2 GTS instead.

Then again, I've seen quite a few gag auctions on e-Bay.

They aren't buying it to use. Nostalgic reasons. And, there was reportedly only 140'something made
