Not enough funding. No fab partner. They have made contributions though. The closet the ever got to bringing a product to retail was a long time ago, very early in the 3D graphic card market. They produced a number of boards and sent them out to developers, but didnt have the money to release it in retail.

Thats disgusting. ANd Lonyo thought you meant actually using the game. Btw, my friggin phone plays a version of wipeout called geopod. I think it looks better than that. Vasara games on google i guess.

ATi should buy out Bitboys like they did with ARTx. Who knows how much they can contribute if they actually had funding and a fab to produce stuff.




EDIT: Wow, the acceleron looks liek it could really be a hit in the PDA market. Good luck to these guys. Maybe soon they might make some money and be able to compete with Nvidia/ATi.

Im sure they are mostly self financed. Im pretty sure they get royalties from some of the stuff they came up with thats used in other companies products.
