Looked for a new fps game as iv'e played BC2 to death.

Thanks to a helpful few posts from some helpful fellow forum members here i decided to give Black Ops some justice.

Thus far Zombie mode isn't bad but i'm trying to figure out whats the point or goal of it?

Played some online people don't kid when they say its a camping infestation.

Found out my gf just loves combat training mode with the rotating maps and it sorta reminds of the offline for BF2 which i would play after playing with non stop idiots for a while.

Do love the perks of this game too.

Loving the offline modes of this game but yeah online is just crammed with campers,is this game that prune with them?

Game was worth purchasing cause offline modes are pretty catchy while BC2 only has a storymode.

Do favor Bc2 over Ops Bc2 for its intense online and Ops for its offline.

yeah the spawn points are terrible in all those games. I don't know that it's necessarily a camping fest...just by design, the levels are extremely open and the game will spawn you even though people are 15 feet away look right at you.
Really spammy game too. Little skill. They had to make it that way for consoles though; it's harder to find people and aim and shoot.

First hour i played online all i noticed was most of my team camping in buildings near windows .

Remember spawning outside where it looked pretty clear and someone was prune camping under a truck just killing everyone who spawned there lol.

Couldn't even see the guy but yup your not far off i could see why its been dubbed so many nicknames but yeah offline def makes up for its mistakes online.

You mean they are camping these?

wait, you got recommendations for a CoD game from this forum?!?!?!?!? Not sure how that happened as 99% of the people on this forum are BF fanboys and hate CoD with a passion (even though they supposedly never played it).

I love the BF series but BC2 is all i have been playing and i mean the only thing.

So i wanted some variety and besides Arma 2 this was the only other fps that struck my interest.

Not to big into scifi shooters besides Bioshock and Unreal Tournament and i play neither of those now.

Don't really believe in fanboys most times cause a amd fanboy would bullshit you and tell you their cpu is faster then their intel competition.

So i bit the bullet buy the games and just go by what i think.

*shrugs* Every CoD game I've played has been more enjoyable to me than BC2. Multi and single player. BC2 may be better if it was less buggy, and that's been a problem with every BF game I've played and why I'm hesitant to give BF3 a solid look.

Haters gonna hate though.

Lots of texture pop-in or whatever you call it, several occurrences of XP points disappearing overnight, some boots out of servers for "packet overflow" or something like that. Also a lot of lag caused issues which isn't a bug, but it seems a lot more sensitive to lag than other shooters.

I had tons of problems back when BF2 came out. I loved that game to death but it would crash to desktop long before I was ready to stop playing.

BF games in my experience have just been more buggy, but are good games.

well first off...Call of Doody (yes a poop joke) is a console game ported to the pc because infinty whores (yes a harlot joke) are abandoners. If they would spend some time taking off the damn auto aim and optimize the game to the pc....well no one would be talking crepe. its that simple.

I have both. I've played BC2 FAR more (going on 60 hours after having bought it in May) while Black Ops I've barely played. I did play 120+ hours of MW2 multi though.

I liked the MW2 campaign and BO campaign is excellent as well. Haven't done much of the combat training or zombie mode. Multiplayer is just similar to MW2. I've personally not had an issue in MW2 or BO with games full of campers. Especially when the game has a killcam.

Hey look, another person to add to the ignore list.

If you have to explain your jokes then they're not very funny.

I actually really enjoyed the MP during the free weekend; unfortunately it was far too expensive, so I will be waiting and picking it up when the price dips below $20.

Why paint yourself in a corner? I like Black Ops and BFBC2 and still play a lot of CoD4. I say enjoy all the PC gaming goodness out there!

Got a BF3 alpha invite last Friday so Ive spent the weekend with it. BFBC2 fans will not be disappointed.

Yeah i remember BF2 being a buggy POS, seeing the half a gig patch for it back then was an eye opener. Cant say ive had trouble with BC2 although i jumped on the bandwagon after it had been out for a year or so.
