Checkout Toyeast. They are a licensed manufacturer of Bit CharG cars and DigiQ cars. You can get OEM versions for $10. Read the thread and see.

they're making Mario Kart Bit Char-G racers now too.

So far it's only Yoshi and Mario. THey both come with mushrooms and turtle shells and bananas and stuff.

I have one, they are pretty cool. fast for such a small car. I put the fastest motor in in, and the little sucker screams.

The real Bit Char-G is worth the price they ask. They really are like scaled down rc cars. I'm officially addicted. I have 3 and have prolly spent a good $150 on them. Everytime I goto ToyEast I find more stuff to get.

The 1.0 is way slower than the 2.6. I had the 1.0 in my car when I got it, and then bought a 2.6 and I was amazed at the difference.

Well .. right now I'm sitting at the CC page of toyeast .. waiting .. I'm getting the accord wagon w/ 3.0 motor .. but, my friend just went down the street to see if they have em at this crazy japanese store .. called gagdets .. and I might have even seen em there, no doubt they'll be super expensive, but if it's not too much more, it might be worth while to get one tonight :)
Also, I'm waiting for someone to speak up and comfort me and tell me that toyeast is legit and that I dont' have to worry giving them my CC info .. and that they ship fast or whatever.

At a full charge, probably like 10 feet away. Maybe a bit more. As the charge goes down, the signal gets weaker, and they get harder to control as they are farther away.

I read around online some more on forums and stuff, and i decided on the OEM bullet beacuse it was supposed to be upto par with the original. The controler is diffrent but ill settle with that since i was looking for a non-rice car, so i ordered an OEM bullet Mercedies CLK silver :) yummy and a nice 3.0 motor to go with it. Costed me 25.50 shipped from toyeast.com
Look forward to my posts on mods and stuff hehe...
