Birthday's don't show up in profile

I don't know if you are aware, but based on what seemed like a need I wrote an API in php that allows someone to code a php app that can access the info in a anandtech user's profile. I though it would be useful in creating community sites that had a close connection with anandtech...aka they could make sure any registering user also had a corresponding username here. This idea game togeather with the anandtech birthday calander idea. It would be very simple to do with my API if only you would be so kind as to make the birthday field publicly viewable in a users profile. TIA jonmullen

I really think it would be a neat feature...is there any way you could possibly send me a PM if you ever do make it visable so I don't have to keep checking this thread, and so at that time I can update the API to take advantage of it.

Two words - privacy laws. There is alot of concern for privacy these days and potential liability w/regard to information control.
