What would be something good for a 3 year old boy thats no more than $50? Any ideas?

Duplo blocks - or you could find a toy drumset. It's completely up to you, as to which you figure would annoy the parents of the kid more.

Personally, if it doesn't make noise or a big mess, I won't get it for the kid!

I saw this magnetic building set on a commercial the other day that would be great for a kid, although it appears to have many small parts. If he isn't the type that eats random stuff lying on the floor it would be good for him.

at this age they are still very easy to shop for. get him a bunch of match box cars and something to play them with like a mini matchbox city or something. My 5yr old could get $20 worth of plastic animals for christmas and be the happiest person in the world. I'd feel liek crap though lol
