These environmental groups barely know much of anything. And now they can't even get their target right.

here's a great quote:

" ?This is a protest rooted in ignorance,? said Jeffrey Feldman, a merchant banker from Philadelphia attending the conference."

Maybe doing a bit of research first might be a good idea before protesting.

I always enjoy a good laugh from hearing about these activists, especially PETA.

LOL@ them..

Though.. I wouldn't mind seeing foods get labeled 'genetically modified'.. Something tells me that capitalism oughta be allowed to figure itself out. If I see carrots for $.49/lb with a 'genetically modified' label and other carrots for $.69/lb, I'd probby buy the other carrots.. Why? Because I fvcking hate the idea that a company can patent a SEED.

My favorite quote on "Frakenfood," which I think describes the current sistuation perfectly :

I think the European position on Frankenfood can be summarized as: "Corporate interests driven only by greed are experimenting with the code of life with unknown consequences. The risks are huge, the benefits are dubious." The American position can be summarized as: "Huh?"
