Hey all,

I'm getting a TPOWER I45 soon, and I'm curious if it's worth pulling off the NB/MOFSET heatsink/pipe and replacing whatever TIM they have with OCZ Freeze. Same thing with the SB heatsink.

If I do pull off the MOFSET heatsink, is it fine to put OCZ freeze directly on the MOFSETS, or is this a big no no?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

they can be cranky about warranty if u do this, but i often change the tim if i pull a board out of one case and move it to another after running for some period... the stock stuff (on vid cards, too) gets crumbly after a while in my experience...

Hm, I'm picking it up used from someone, so it might be a good idea then. Is it safe to put OCZ Freeze directly on MOFSETS?

just be sure to keep it on the chip, not splooged all over... the stuff isn't supposed to be conductive at the voltages in play, but a tiny dab'l do ya...

Well, OCZ Freeze is supposed to be non-conductive and non-capacitive, so that shouldn't be a problem!
