BioStar TForce6100 - can't boot to memtest86 CD

I finally got around to using my TForce6100/Sempron64-2800+ combo I bought back in February and find I'm getting some instability to where my browsers (Firefox 1.5.0.4 and IE) are crashing.
OS: MS MCE 2002 Service Pack 2
DDR: CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) Twinx2048-3200c2pt (from a 939 machine I'm selling).

I burned a CD (ISO w/ Nero6 & updates) with memTest86 (latest download) and tried to boot into it but unlike my other PC, even if I set the bios to boot first to CDROM it won't. I don't know how I managed to install the OS.

I even tried updating the bios to the latest CR51M306.BST but still no change. Man, I am pissed.
Last night I was cursing the name "Biostar", swearing to never buy that brand again.

Is there a functioning version of memtest86 that will load onto a floppy?
I need to find the source of this problem, whether it's the video, memory, or a bad driver.
Oh, yah, I downloaded and installed the latest drivers, too. That didn't fix it.

I'm pretty sure it has the option in BIOS. Look in the overclocking menu at the last item to the bottom.
