Hoping to get some first hand experience from fellow anandtechers. Since the P35E is not to be found for love or money I'm rooting around looking for another $100 or cheaper board to pick up for my next build. The goal is at least a 2.6ghz overclock on a 2140.

I've had really good luck with Biostar myself, even though it's a budget brand like ECS. The hit and miss reviews don't bother me.
 
check over at rebels haven - they have modded bioes and a build thread on it with over-clocking tips - poly has hit 500fsb on a tp35d2 and loves it . i think it's a good mb--

the p35d2a7 is a stripped down-budget cut version of the pt35d2a7 --it MIGHT be a decent over-clocker or it Might not depending on what was removed from the pt35d2a7 . they are so cheap i might try one myself--lol
