Biostar Tforce 6100 Question

I am just wondering if anyone is using this in a Home Theater PC that uses the MCE remote to put it to S3 sleep and wake it back up.

My previous Socket A board did this fine, I got an ECS Nforce3-A board that would not wake with the remote, even though it was set to wake with USB in the BIOS.

Could someone confirm that this works fine with this board in question?

Also, when asleep, does the LED flash, or is it off, or...?

Funny thing is that I have my Biostar Tforce6100 in my HTPC also...

I don't have MCE or the remote and I don't bother with sleep/resume (just turn it on when I need it, turn it off after), so don't know about that issue but I have a thought...

If the remote uses a USB receiver for the signals, perhaps the USB device is not getting enough power when the computer is in sleep mode for it to receive signals from your remote? There are jumpers on the motherboard labeled JUSBV1 near the rear USB ports and JUSBV2 near the headers for front ports. I've seen those on many boards but have never used those, but I recall reading something about those needing to be jumpered to give USB ports power when system was off or in sleep mode. Check the manuals for more details, but may be worth a shot.

Thanks for the info. I know exactly which jumpers you are talking about. On the ECS board that we spoke about in the other thread I checked to make sure they were to the correct setting, but I believe those jumpers governed whether the ports were give +5v or whether they were just passive. That could be incorrect, or I could have connected them backwards (held the manual upside down) .
