1. won't wake/resume from S3 with ps/2 mouse or keyboard
2. will wake/resume from S1 with ps/2 mouse or keyboard
The problem is #1
Wakes from S3 only with power button.
Things I've tried:
different BIOS versions
different BIOS settings
many different ps/2 mice/keyboards
different PSU (Cooler Master 600W)
uninstall, format, reinstall windows, 4 times
tried with windows updates and without, tried SP3
tried different chipset and video driver versions etc.
The keyboard has power to it when in S3 standby (num lock is lit)
in device manager the keyboard and mouse do not have a power management tab
neither do my 2 other computers but they wake fine
uninstalled and reinstalled mouse/keyboard and drivers
S3 was enabled in BIOS before windows was installed, tried after too just for kicks
tried a patch Biostar sent me
tried sleeper and other software
tried everything Biostar said and more
scoured the internet for weeks to get info
Anyone have any ideas? Besides using a USB mouse/keyboard
