Just got this board today for my sisters computer. The manual sucks and I haven't built a computer for years. I bought a 7850be to go along with it as well as pc-8500 memory.

At first the memory was only running at 800mhz until I found the setting to manually change it to 1066. After I got that working, was browsing through the onboard video settings and came across the sideport. It's set at 400mhz but I can change it up to 533 if I wanted. I don't know what this exactly does unless it's for overcloking the gpu. I'm not going to be using anything but the onboard graphics. Could someone explain what this exactly does and if it would help speed up the graphics.

I think i figured it out but still would like some imput.

I guess the sideport runs at half of what your computer memory is running. So since the computer was first running at 800mhz and sideport was running at half which is 400. So when I changed the computer memory to 1066, I needed to change the sideport as well to 533.

I'm I correct?
