I recently upgraded my memory from 2gb to 4gb, I'm using these 4x1gb.

My OS is vista home premium 32bit...now I know I won't see all of my memory(32bit limitation), but Vista does show that I have 4gb of memory installed, and so does CPUID, it shows all 4 sticks in dual channel, unganged.

Task Mangager only shows 2gb of pyhsical memory, also my BIOS shows the same that I have only 2gb installed.

Is there something I'm missing (like something I need to enable/disable in my BIOS)...kinda confused why I see 4gb here and only 2gb there. The memory seems stable(no errors), I tested each stick individually in different slots.

Here are my specs

PIIx3 720be
Biostar 790gx 128
4850 512mb

Any help/suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks...I'll give that a try soon as I get home from work, which won't be for another 4hrs.

Also I saw a similiar answer given when I did a google search lastnight. I looked in my bios, and couldn't find 'memory remapping' I know the terminology might different from board to board. Is there another term or keywords I should be looking for? I did find something like 'Memory Hole' in the memory settings, but didn't touch it.
