Good afternoon guys,

I was wondering if I can get a suggestion in getting a headstart in setting up the BIOS to achieve a moderate overclock. I believe the default settings for RAM and CPU and FSB are on the minimal.

I received my barebone purchase today and have properly installed the following:
* Biostar P4M900-M7 SE Socket 775 Barebones Kit - v7.0
* Intel Pentium D 945 3.40GHz OEM
* 3GB DDR2 PC5400
* ATX Mid-Tower Case, 450 Watt Power Supply

I'm clueless with the BIOS setup for CPU and RAM, but I have changed the onboard video memory from 128MB to 256MB.

I googled for that motherboard but can't find any forum with bios setting discussions. Please help !

I want to set it to run so my RAM will be truly on PC 5400 speed, and the advertised FSB speed and to make the CPU run truly on 3.4GHZ.

Thanks in advance !

That's because you're the only person in the world attempting to overclock this motherboard.

Put all BIOS settings at Default, Auto, or SPD. CPU and RAM should run truly at their intended speed.
