BIOSTAR NF325-A7 BIOS Appears to Freeze

As mentioned in the topic title I'm running a BIOSTAR NF325-A7 motherboard, with a Sempron 64 3300+. I dual boot linux / Windows regularly and haven't had any problems until today. Today I decided to reboot my PC and when I did the BIOS appeared to freeze. The BIOSTAR splash screen appears on-screen for probably at least a minute before it start loading GRUB. Nothing has changed in my system in terms of hardware.

Another interesting item I noticed was that the HD light remained on the entire time. With that said I unplugged both IDE channels to be sure and the HD light went off but the PC didn't get past the BIOS screen any faster.

I'm not able to get into the BIOS either. I pressed all the possibly keys I could think of (F1-F12 and the DEL key). I know it's the delete key but that didn't work either. The only way I could finally get into the BIOS was to reset the BIOS and then I was able to get in. Reseting the BIOS did not help though. It still hangs on the BIOS splash screen for a number of seconds before continuing on.

I'm not sure what could be causing this problem. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Also I wanted to note that I reset the BIOS in the system and

I can't figure out how to turn it off in the BIOS.... plus when I can't actually get to the BIOS it makes it kind of difficult.
