Biostar M7VKD Motherboard 133mhz

I can't for the life of me get this thing to run at 133mhz.

I had this old mobo sitting around and decided to use it for an upgrade for my SIL. I got an Athlon XP 1800+ and all I can get it to do is 1150mhz (100mhz x 11.5).

It supposedly has auto-detect on the CPU, but either it's not working or there's some setting in the BIOS that I'm missing. When I manually jumper it to run at 133mhz, it won't even boot. Everything spins up, but I get no video, no post, and no beep.

Anyone have any ideas??

I did install the latest bios as well.

Did you change both jumpers?

There's a bank of 4 jumpers and a single jumper.

I tried just the single jumper with bank of jumpers all OFF = no post
I tried the bank of jumpers with single jumper ON= no post
I tried the bank of jumpers with single jumper OFF = no post

The only way it would post is the bank of jumpers all OFF and the single jumper ON.

per m7vkd manual..(which of course does not mean it'll work lol)

jclk2:

Yeah, I downloaded the manual from Biostar and tried exactly what you've shown. Everything would powerup, but I didn't get any video or post...
