I hope someone can give me some insight or figure out what I am missing. Built a Biostar M7VIW/Athlon 2400+/PC-2700 DDR 512/Geforce3ti200 machine a few days ago and I can't get it too boot. On the first boot up, fresh with cleared bios, the machine will post but with a "cmos checksum error". If I change anything the in bios and reboot I get no video and a long beep from the mobo. Checked Biostar's website and they only say that a beep error code is for video and should be a long beep followed by two short beeps, which isn't what I have. I've tested the video card, cpu, ram in another machine and they work fine. My last guess is that the mother board could be faulty, but I wanted to check here before I send it back to newegg. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just to update, it was the motherboard. Poped in another that I borrowed from a friend the machine boots right up.
