I have Redhat 8 on one of these boards and it works just dandy. There is one really nice feature on the Biostar boards and that is when booting you can hold down the f9 key and it will give you a boot sequence prompt.
Put the linux on one HD and windows on the other and when booting just hit f9 and boot to the drive you want. These are great boards.

Bleep

S3 ProSavage graphics, and everything else embedded to the VIA chipsets, is quite well supported in recent Linux distros. Fear not.

That boot menu thing isn't limited to Biostar boards. My PC-Chips has that too. (In fact, it's a common feature of modern BIOSes, be they Phoenix or AMI.)

If you haven't ordered yet, you might consider the M7VIG Pro[/L] version as well. It is available for $62 delivered from FTI in NY. It has updated onboard S3 ProSavage 8 video, USB 2.0 (with 2 rear ports and 4 front ports, as well as a front audio port), and snazzier C-Media CMI9739A 6-Channel audio. It also comes with the Warpspeeder overclocking utility, which I believe only works from within Windows.
