Got this machine back from my son (with issues). I want to flash the BIOS.

Biostar's site shows latest BIOS version is NCG40916

The display on the machine shows the current BIOS as NCG0917
No version called NCG0917 appears there.

New: NCG40916
Current: NCG0917

Something is rotten here. Plus I am unable to locate any further history of BIOS versions.

Anyone know what the heck this means? Is the current BIOS so old that it is not showing? Did one of my son's geek budds flash it with an incorrect BIOS?
